Testimonials

  • “Anh is knowledgeable and has an attention to detail that far exceeds what I could have expected. Not only did she correct grammatical and spelling errors in both English and Spanish, but she also improved the overall readability and flow of my writing. Best of all, her notes and suggestions took into consideration my writing style. I would work with Anh again in a heartbeat because I know she delivers high-quality work and can meet deadlines.”

    Service: Copy Editing

  • Anh was my student in the EFA's Editing Romance class in Spring 2025. It was an absolute pleasure having her in class. She quickly identified different character archetypes and genre tropes in the book, indicating a real love and familiarity with the genre. But what stood out to me was her analysis of these archetypes and tropes; she broke down how the author used these in a scene to ratchet up conflict and tension between the characters. Her attention to detail also really stood out: she could break down a scene and identify key elements -- like word choice, sentence structure, and physical details -- that affected the scene's pacing and tension. Her in-line comments delivered actionable feedback to the author while also raising great questions surrounding historical details that, if not corrected, could pull readers out of the story. Her editorial letter offered big-picture feedback that identified gaps in the story surrounding conflict. Just as importantly, she also offered the author concrete suggestions on how they could address those gaps in a second draft.

    Developmental Editor

  • "It was a pleasure to have Anh Ho as a classmate in the Editing Romance course at the Editorial Freelancers Association. Anh had weekly commentary full of insights that I would have never have thought of, was quick to respond to my... comments, and she held an obvious enthusiasm for editing romance."
